Leeds Big Sleep 2019 - Congratulation to All
Congratulation to All who last night braved the sub-zero temperatures and slept out in the open for the 2019 Leeds Big Sleep.
Nearly 200 hundred people participated in the event and slept out under the stars in the Emerald Headingley Stadium to raise money for St. George’s Crypt, Leeds Rhino’s Foundation and St. Gemma’s Hospice.
The brave NRB team, not only managed to get some sleep, but in fact ‘slept in’ and awoke to an empty stadium, with the rest of their fund raising comrades having already departed.
Notwithstanding, the team gave up the comfort of their warm homes and comfy beds, to sleep on a hard concrete floor on one of the coldest nights of the year and awoke to a heavy frost and in so doing, have raised in excess of £3,000.00.
Well done to Richard, Matthew and Ryan on an excellent achievement.
