Leeds Big Sleep 2019

A small group of the NRB team along with one of our hardy sub-contractors have taken the courageous decision to take part in the 2019 Leeds Big Sleep.

This is an annual fundraising event with the aim of sleeping out, under the stars in the Emerald Headingley Stadium on a ‘balmy’ November night!

The team were keen to support this event and help raise funds for those in most need in the city,  who are helped and supported by this year’s three worthy charities:

  • St Georges Crypt: A charity for the homeless and disadvantaged adults in Leeds since 1930.  They offer food, emergency accommodation, specialist residential projects, recovery from addiction, volunteering/work experience and skills training for their service users and much more.

  • The Leeds Rhinos Foundation: An initiative that aims to use the power of sport to make a lasting, positive impact on people lives in the heart of the community.

  • The St Gemma’s Hospice: A charity that provides expert care and support for local people with life-limiting illnesses.  They offer care to patients and their carers in the Hospice's In-Patient Unit, through the St Gemma's community team and via a range of day therapies.  There care is always provided free-of-charge and is open to anyone who needs it.

Thank you to everyone that has already supported our teams efforts, if anyone else would like to donate to these great causes then please follow the link below!
